Greetings, Catchers & Pitchers have reported, the rest of the teams have made their way to the field and we are just a few days away from the first Spring Training games in the Grapefruit & Cactus leagues. Whether you make it to Florida or Arizona you will find an exciting start to the 2023 season.
What’s unique this year?
Several players who would be at Spring Training will be participating in the World Baseball Classic, (WBC)
19 players from the Cardinals organization will be at the WBC making room for a lot of new and younger players on their Spring Training Roster. So you may not see some of your favorite players take the field but you will get a glimpse of some hungry players that will be putting forth their best to snag a spot on the regular season roster.
Yankees Spring Training will definitely have a different look this year. 29 non-roster players have been invited to their Spring Training site in Tampa. Teams can have a total of 60 players on their Spring Training rosters.
